Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

These rules help keep EditText safe, lawful, and useful for everyone.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the EditText Terms of Service. It applies to prompts, uploads, reference images, generated outputs, shared content, and all use of EditText. Last updated: August 22, 2026.

2. Prohibited sexual and exploitative content

You may not use EditText to create, request, upload, process, store, or distribute:

  • Nudity, semi-nudity, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW content.
  • Any sexual content involving or depicting minors, or content that sexualizes young-looking persons.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, sexualized violence, or coercive sexual content.

3. Harmful, illegal, and deceptive use

You may not use EditText to facilitate, promote, or create content for:

  • Violence, threats, self-harm, hate, harassment, abuse, or exploitation.
  • Illegal activity, fraud, scams, impersonation, deception, or evasion of platform safeguards.
  • Malware, spyware, credential theft, or other harmful or unauthorized technical activity.
  • Products, services, or material that are unlawful or require authorization you do not have.

EditText does not process or support creating, altering, simulating, uploading, or otherwise processing the following content:

  • IDs, passports, visas, visa support letters, immigration submissions, government records, official seals, licenses, certificates, or other official or verification documents.
  • Bank statements or altered or fabricated payment confirmations, transaction records, invoices, receipts, refund evidence, or other financial documents used as proof.
  • Emails, chats, messages, or screenshots altered or fabricated to falsify the sender, recipient, content, timestamp, or transaction status.

4. People, likeness, and manipulated media

Do not create or distribute deceptive or harmful manipulated media. You may not use EditText for face-swapping, deepfakes, or face manipulation that impersonates a real person or could mislead others about a real person's identity, appearance, actions, or statements.

If you upload an image of an identifiable person, you must have the person's permission and all rights needed for the requested processing and intended use. Do not use EditText to create non-consensual, deceptive, defamatory, exploitative, or invasive content about any person.

5. Intellectual property and brand rights

You must have the rights, permissions, and licenses needed for your inputs and intended use of outputs. Do not use EditText to infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other rights, including by copying protected characters, logos, official campaigns, or celebrity likenesses without permission.

6. How we enforce this policy

EditText may use automated systems and human review to assess prompts, uploads, and outputs for policy violations. We may block a request, remove or restrict content, suspend or terminate an account, preserve relevant records, or take other action when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy, protect users, comply with law, or meet our service-provider obligations.

Violations of the document, impersonation, or deception restrictions above result in immediate account termination. Payments, fees, and credits are non-refundable except where required by law. We preserve relevant request and account logs and may disclose them to law enforcement or other competent authorities, including authorities in affected jurisdictions, when required or permitted by law.

7. Report or ask a question

To report suspected misuse or ask about this policy, email support@edittextinimage.tools.
