Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of EditText. By using EditText, you agree to these terms.

1. Overview

EditText is a creative workflow tool for generating and organizing social-ready content, including carousels, captions, visual prompts, AI-generated images, edits, boards, libraries, and related creative assets. These terms form a binding agreement between you and EditText.

Last updated: August 22, 2026.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Some features may be available in guest mode. Guest workspaces, credits, prompts, uploaded assets, and generated outputs may be stored against a browser-based guest identifier. If you bind or sign in to an account, we may migrate eligible guest workspace data and credit history into that account.

3. Your Content

  • You may only upload, submit, or process content that you own or have permission to use.
  • You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights status of your inputs and outputs.
  • You retain ownership of your content, subject to any rights required for us to operate the service.
  • You grant EditText the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, display, store, and transmit your content to operate and improve the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use EditText to create, store, or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, or harmful content. You also agree not to interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the service.

In particular, you may not use EditText to generate, request, upload, process, or distribute nude, semi-nude, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW content. You may also not use the service to create exploitative sexual content, including content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, or sexualized violence. We may remove such content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

You may not use EditText to impersonate others, mislead audiences about material facts, violate platform rules, infringe intellectual property rights, or create content that you do not have the right to publish or commercialize.

EditText does not process, and you may not upload, request, create, alter, or otherwise process, IDs, passports, visas, visa support letters, immigration submissions, government or verification documents, official seals, licenses, certificates, or bank statements. You also may not use altered or fabricated transaction proofs, refund proofs, receipts, emails, chats, messages, or screenshots to falsify identity, authority, evidence, sender, content, timestamp, or transaction status.

Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms and provides additional rules for AI-generated content, identifiable people, intellectual property, and prohibited uses.

5. AI-Generated Output

EditText uses automated systems to help generate and organize content. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing all output before publishing, sharing, or relying on it.

AI image and copy generation may produce unexpected artifacts, similarities to existing works, or outputs that require additional rights review. You are responsible for checking generated assets before commercial use or distribution.

EditText is an independent product that may integrate third-party AI models and services. EditText is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the providers of those models unless we expressly state otherwise.

6. Sharing and Public Libraries

If you choose to share, publish, remix, submit to a library, or otherwise make content public, that content may be visible to others. We may review, reject, remove, or moderate publicly submitted content at our discretion.

7. Third-Party Services

EditText may rely on third-party services for authentication, storage, analytics, payment processing, AI models, image generation, search or source retrieval, logging, advertising measurement, and infrastructure. Your use of EditText may involve those services processing prompts, files, generated outputs, account identifiers, usage events, billing metadata, and diagnostic information as needed to provide the product.

These providers may include AI model providers such as OpenAI and Google, payment services such as Stripe and Creem, hosting and application infrastructure such as Vercel, analytics or diagnostics services, and related subprocessors when those integrations are enabled.

8. Privacy and Data Controls

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, retain, and protect information. It also explains how to request access, correction, deletion, export, or other privacy controls where available.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

10. Plans, Billing, and Credits

If EditText offers paid plans, subscriptions, credits, or usage-based limits, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. You may cancel a subscription at any time. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period, you will keep access to paid features until that period ends, and you will not be charged for the next billing period.

You may request a refund within 7 calendar days of the applicable charge if paid credits and paid features have not been materially used. Material use includes any download after the applicable subscription charge or more than 5 paid generations. After material use, subscription fees, one-time purchases, paid unlocks, and credit purchases are generally non-refundable; cancellation ends future renewal and does not create a refund or credit for unused time or credits. We review verified billing errors, duplicate charges, and confirmed technical issues on a case-by-case basis. These rules, exclusions, and request process are set out in ourRefund Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the account or billing controls made available to you. If those controls are unavailable, contact support@edittextinimage.tools from the email address associated with your account. For a billing, refund, or dispute question, include your account email and the relevant order or invoice reference. We will respond within three business days. If we approve a refund, we will complete processing it through the original payment method within five business days, subject to any additional time required by the payment provider or financial institution.

Credits are a limited right to access EditText services. They are not money, stored value, or a payment instrument; have no cash value; and may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, withdrawn, or redeemed for cash, except where required by applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

EditText and its software, branding, design, and related materials are owned by EditText or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of the service itself.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to EditText if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we decide to discontinue the service. You may stop using EditText at any time.

13. Disclaimers

EditText is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EditText and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.

15. Governing Terms

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.

16. Contact
